I am still in hype from Kerygma Conference 2013, it was a 4 days conference filled with new learnings and God’s love ❤. From almost 20,000 attendees, I am one of the lucky ones who received a free Mother Teresa prayer card and a pendant (I’m just not sure if it’s really a pendant) given by a nun who also attended the conference.
Inside story: I am used of seeing numbers of nuns praying together since I came from a catholic school since the start of my schooling days. Anyway, I made a joke with my friend about ending my career and will discern if I am called to become a nun, “Gen, ‘pag may nakita akong 20, feeling ko, sign na yun” we both dared each other, if we get to see a total of 20 nuns that day, it is a sign for us. Apparently, we only saw 7 nuns the wholeday, it’s already 6pm, day 3 conference ended. We are on the escalator going down, until we saw number of nuns praying angelus, as I started counting them by two’s, “two, four, six, eight, nine”, “Gen!!!!, 7 plus 9?” we both screamed “16!!!”
Hindi umabot ng 20. 😊
Oh well, maybe we’re both not called for this extraordinary vocation. Being a nun, or a sister, requires a lot of prayers, a lot of discerning. Nuns make an incredibly respectable and admirable group of women. They have the greatest relationship anybody could have, a relationship with God, they are God’s brides 😊❤
I think, God’s plan for us is different, maybe to have a family of our own or I don’t know yet, it’s all up to Him, but whatever it is, I know He already have the greatest plan made only for me 😊👍🙏
